Out and About

This past week Jamin and I went to the zoo with my sister-in-laws and cousin and all the kiddos. It was a little different than when it's just Jamin and I because Jamin isn't at the age yet where he is too interested in the animals. In a 2 hour period we can usually get to see most of the zoo but with everyone I think we saw 3 exhibits in two hours. It was a good in preparing me for when Jamin gets old enough to enjoy all the animals and want to look at them for a long time. It also made me glad that we have a season pass because I know whatever we don't get to one time, we can get to it the next time we go!

Jamin started to get diarrhea toward this point so we decided to head home. He was totally fine the rest of the day so I am not too sure what caused it. I'm thinking a food allergy or the heat was getting to him...not too sure.

Jamin and I decided to visit one of my best friends at work last week. Stacey and I get together for Bible study every week and she is also one of my best friends from college.

Oh no, Jamin is starting to get out of control. We better go before he messes everything up lol
Saturday we headed out and took the 'Party Bus' up to the Denver Broncos training camp. We went with our small group at church. Sorry for the quality of pictures in the bus, my camera was in between settings and I didn't realize it. We also met up with our best friend, Tyler, who lives in Denver. We were so excited that we could all hang out together!!!
Getting ready to go!!!

Sunday we hung out and went to the pool! The outdoor pool also is our community center so we played inside while we waited for the pool to open. There is also a indoor pool and a rec center in our neighborhood that we enjoyed this week with my sister-in-law Karen and her two boys, Wyatt and Caleb.

On Monday Jamin was his usual self and then he suddenly came down with a bad cold. He was totally fine at 4pm and by 9pm he was one very sick boy. He was up almost the entire night screaming and crying. He had a very high fever so I went back and forth the entire night whether I should call the doctor because nothing seemed to be working. There was one point in the night that he felt so hot that I decided to sleep out on the deck for a bit to try and cool him off. The next day I gave him cold baths and we camped out in the basement (it's so much cooler down there). He had also lost his appetite so I knew that operation weight gain was a total bust. By the next morning his fever was down and he was starting to feel much better. We know that many people were praying for our little man and I believe it was those prayers that kept Jamin from getting worse and that got him better. Today he just has some congestion. Praise God!

Somehow Malachi can squeeze through that little dog door lol He takes the whole tent with him every time though lol

Just playing!

A lovely picture to leave you with! So many uses for those infant toys!

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
