Day to Day

I thought I would start to capture some things that we do almost everyday. Here is what we are up to at this time.

I try to do one arts and crafts project with Jamin each day. This was by far his favorite so far.
We did a hang mold with Jamin's hand and then painted it

He got a little excited and got wet paint on his lips

The finished project! He did everything except write his name!

Jamin has moved on from climbing inside the dish washer and now loves to climb and play in the dryer. He will sit and giggle in there until I make him get out lol.

He also doesn't mind it when I put wet clothes (in this case diapers) in there with him lol
Jamin loves playing with the kids in the neighborhood. Here he is with Jayden and Ryan. We always love it when they come over and knock on our door everyday!

At first I couldn't figure out what Jamin was doing with his play phone but then I figured out that he was trying to put it on his waist band and wear it just like daddy. He was so proud when he got it on there.

Mom look...I'm just like daddy!!!

Jamin trying to figure out how to put on the phone lol
Jamin has been getting into putting hats on. We have a fireman hat, cowboy hat, construction hat and lots of winter hats. We put them on and sing songs about each one. I also saw that this is a really good activity for his age in a toddler play book that we have.

The construction hat is Jamin's favorite one to wear. This is how he puts it on and then he runs around laughing until he runs into the couch or a wall lol

A little cuddle with his best friend!
In the past week, Jamin has been wanting to put on daddy's shoes. He will go in our closet and get his nice dress shoes out or tries to put on his heelys when they are out.

Mom, can I get a pair of these, PLEASE!!!

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
