Birthday Weekend and the Family

We had a great couple of weeks. Here are some pictures of what we've been up to!
Jamin and Malachi playing. Jamin LOVES playing fetch with Malachi now. We have videos but they are really long so I will just leave you with a couple pictures.
Jamin is ready for football season....he is getting so good at showing his TOUCHDOWN!!!
He gets so excited when mommy starts cheering him on!
We love our cul-de-sac because there are kids in every house around us. We love playing outside with them and Jamin gets so excited when they knock on our door everyday to ask if we can come out and play.
Well I know where this is going. Jamin starting going down the driveway in his jeep, then in his bumbo on the longboard...and now he is able to sit on the skateboard. Next he will be on his knees and then feet. He is getting to big.

Daddy is right there to catch him!

We are enjoying the last few weeks of warm weather. We have been taking walks and going to parks.

Changing colors of the leaves can only mean one thing...fall and cooler weather is coming

Getting his first 'taste' of fall lol

Malachi loves exploring all the open spaces and trails in our neighborhood.

Dinner at our favorite restaurant. We call is the OG but its the Olive Garden.

Tyler and Jamin at Dinner
Last weekend we celebrated my 26th Birthday! Kyle didn't tell me what we were doing but he told me not to plan anything for the whole weekend. On Friday we went out to dinner at Louie's Pizza (our ultimate favorite pizza) and at dinner Kyle told me that he was taking me shopping for clothes. This came as a total surprise because it something that I definitely have been needing to do for the past three years but never get around to shopping for myself. He bought me three shirts and a pair of jeans! On Saturday, Kyle gave me a clue that we would be traveling somewhere, which I later found out was the Royal Gorge! We took a family trip and had a wonderful adventure!
We stopped at a local restaurant in Canon City to eat. You know its good local food when you dine with their city Mayor!

Getting to the Royal Gorge Bridge!

Walking across....Jamin, you forgot to look at the camera lol

Taking a few fun pictures

Jamin stunk up the out house lol

I love BIG chairs!

Panning for gold!

I had to put these two in Jail..being that handsome has to be a crime

Stopping for some yummy ice cream!

Getting down to the bottom

Jamin doesn't look grossed out when mommy and daddy kiss...but I'm sure he'll get there lol

Ok now some love for our baby boy

We got lucky and got to see a train go by!

Heading back up

Jamin loved all the rides we went on! He never got scared!

My mom is out of the country so we are waiting to celebrate my birthday with her but my dad invited us over on Sunday to give me a present. It was such a sweet surprise when I discovered he got balloons and a giant cupcake for me!

Here are a few random pictures that I thought were worth posting.
Yummy beef and broccoli....so cute!
This video is so cute. Jamin has started to understand that when food is hot, he needs to blow on it!

We thought it was finally time to give Jamin his first haircut.

Just to let everyone know...we took the blade out of the shaver when he was holding it :)

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
