Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!

 We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!!

After we got checked in we decided to go into the park to go see Old Faithful, have a little dinner and then head back to sleep.
The drive in was beautiful!





 At the entrance gates! (Little did we know that this would be the only time we were able to get into the park because of the government shut down that happened later that night.)
 Stopping at the Ranger station to get the kids signed up for the Junior Ranger program.
 Spent a little time exploring on the walk down there....

 It was freezing...we got parked right after Old Faithful went off so we decided to make some hot soup and then head into the OldFaithful Lodge to shop and wait...

 The most awesome thing ever...Josiah got his own umbrella attached to his walker!


 While we waited we took some family pictures!





 We got too cld waiting to we headed back inside for a little bit...
 We heard it as supposed to go any minute so back out we went
 YAY! There she is!
 Amazing sunset too!

 One last picture of the whole group before we headed back to the RV for more ho soup, homemade hot cocoa and then back to the RV park for the night.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. 4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it!  Group picture after taking the tour  We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week.
