It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

This past two weeks we have been getting ready for Christmas! We participated in "Small Business Saturday" instead of "Black Friday" and I have to say that it was a lot of fun and I especially loved the family time that we got! We went to Old Colorado City and spent the day shopping and ate at a little local Italian restaurant. I was, however, a little disappointed in the shops they had there. There were a ton of jewelry and clothing shops but no unique toy stores or family friendly stores. We still came out of the day with a lot of good time together! We even got to be at the grand opening of Baby Cotton Bottoms. This store is where I have purchased all of Jamin's cloth diapers from. Up until now, it has been run out of a small detached garage but surprisingly is one of the top 5 cloth diaper stores in the country because of their amazing online store! It is so neat to see this store growing and the interest in cloth diapers growing as well!!
Here are a few pictures from the day!

Last weekend we wanted to drive around our neighborhood and look at all the lights that our neighbors have put up this year. There were so many people who went all out! Some even made a light show that went to music! Jamin loved sitting with me in the front seat. When we would come up to a house with lots of lights, I would roll down the window and Jamin would get so excited. He tried crawling out of the car several times lol.

I love this picture because Jamin totally has a food mustache going on!
We also celebrated Kyle's birthday last weekend! Jamin and I gave him his present a day early so that he could enjoy it all month long. We made him an Advent Calendar. Every year he always talks about how much he LOVES these. I have usually bought him one from Target each year, but this year I decided to make him his own personalized one. I filled it with his favorite chocolates.
We also put up the Christmas tree this weekend! Jamin loves the lights! He has already pulled down one of our trees. He is no longer allowed to touch them lol. When we were putting up the ornaments, Jamin disappeared for a minute. We both thought he was by the front door but then when he came out of our bedroom he was carrying a pair of my underwear. He proceeded to walk toward the tree where he hung them up on it. I guess he thought that it was missing a special ornament lol.

Helping pull out the 'special' ornaments.

My mom has given me an ornament every year since I was ten. There is a small tree in our house dedicated to only these ornaments. When we opened up the box, one was sadly broken :(

These pictures are so hilarious. I thought that maybe Jamin wouldn't be afraid of Santa but he definitely was. I think one of these will be on our Christmas cards because they are so funny. Jamin was given a little gift from Santa too and he wanted nothing to do with it. I think it's because he knew it wasn't the real Santa lol.

We tried to see if Mrs. Clause would be better but it wasn't.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
