Snow and Staycation!

A few Fridays ago we had a pretty big snow storm. We wanted to go outside and build a snowman but the wind was crazy and we didn't last more than 2 minutes. It's funny how it takes 30 minutes to get ready to go outside and then we only stay out there for a couple minutes lol.
 That same weekend we had plannd on doing a 'stay-cation'! There were a few things going on in Denver and I really wanted to make it more exciting by staying in Denver. I can remember my mom taking my sister and I up to Denver for little vacations like this! We would do the same things as in the Springs, go see a movie or go shopping, but it just seemed more exciting cause it was up in Denver.

 We like staying at hotels with rooms like this because we can bring a lot of our meals up with us!

 Jamin has started to make fart noises by blowing on his arms lol. He is doing it all the time now, even at doctors appointments.
 The pool was freezing but the hot tub seemed to be just like a warm bath so we spent all the time in there!



 AWe took advantage of the cable and stayed in bed and watched the movie Cars on ABC family and ate some popcorn!

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. 4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
