Jamin is 2 Years Old!

I don't know what it is about Jamin's birthday but it has brought the first cold weather of the year now 3 years in a row. I went into labor with him during the first snowstorm of the year in 2010, last year it snowed for the first time on his birthday and the same happened this year. What a beautiful treat God has given us each year!
a picture of our house on Jamin's birthday. I wanted to make sure I captured it on our way out.
I am doing this post a little backwards. Jamin had his birthday party the weekend before his actual birthday but I will being showing some things from his actual birthday first.

The birthday boy in the morning

Just a typical day at home lol

On our way to Louie's Pizza. We have made it a yearly tradition to go there on his birthday!
I love this face lol

Eating his favorite...cheesy bread!

Say Cheese!

I will give you a sneak peak of the next post. I will be posting pictures from all our halloween adventures this year. We got a lot of great use out of his costume! He was the cutest puppy!
Headed to Villa and Trunk or Treat at church...still eating his cheesy bread lol
Okay onto his birthday party!!!!!
He is really into trains, planes and cars so we decided to have a transportation theme birthday!
I loved all the little details!

Getting everything set up while the boys take their afternoon nap

In case anyone is wondering if I neglect my kids so that I can make all this ridiculous stuff I don't. It's actually much worse. I plan all the details 2 months out and start working on it during naps and after everyone goes to bed. Yes, I'm a little crazy when it comes to my kids birthdays but I really do love doing it and love all the details.

The party favors were my favorite thing!

Thought the fueling station sign was pretty appropriate in the drink area lol

I made the invitations to look like tickets

All about the trains and cars

planes and 2s
The birthday boy waking up from his nap

looking at all the decorations for his party

still a little grumpy from his nap lol

wanting to get a picture with the grumpy birthday boy lol
Guests started to show up and Jamin quickly warmed up and was ready to party!

Cousins!

Landin got lots of love from everyone at the party!

Grandma loving on Landin

Jamin decorating his plane

taking his plane outside to fly it off the deck

One of the main reasons we decided to have his party the weekend before his birthday is because we were hoping it would be nice enough for everyone to play outside. God answered our prayers and the weather was awesome!

Praying...Thank you Lord for two amazing years with our little Jamin and bless this food!

Lemonade!!!!!

Uncle Tyler and Megan!

Jamin showing off his 'bomb'!

All the fun happening back inside.

Singing happy birthday and blowing out the candles

One happy birthday boy!

Loves the frosting lol

Opening gifts while everyone enjoys cake and icecream

Landin is excited to see all the toys he gets to play with too lol

Kyle trying on Jamin's bike helmet

At the end of the party we started to take down all the streamers and thought it would be fun to turn on the fan and see what happens. Jamin loved it and I think we may try this at a party in the future lol

While Kyle and I were cleaning up, Jamin is playing with one of his favorite toys he got from his great grandpa and great grandma

We feel so blessed that God has given us two amazing years with Jamin! We pray for many more! We love you very much Jamin. Thank you for being the joy of our lives! We cannot wait to see what God has in store for your life.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
