Happy Halloween 2012

We started out the holiday with picking out a pumpkin! We decided to go to a store and get one and wait until next year to go to a pumpkin patch so that Jamin is old enough to understand and enjoy it.

Jamin picked this one out all by himself!
We headed over to my sister's house to carve some pumpkins!
Jamin colored and decorated his.

Jamin hates group pictures  lol
Like I said in the last post, we got a lot of use out of his costume this year! After we bought it he wanted to wear it around the house and outside.

What a cutie!

He calls it his dog hat. He enjoyed wearing it outside to play lol

Brushing out teeth and getting them strong for all the candy!

Then he wanted to wear his helmet with his costume. What a silly.

On his birthday, there were a few trick or treat events that we went to.

Jamin walking down the halls at villa sport

We didn't dress Landin up this year :( He just happened to be in his Broncos #1 Fan outfit so we called it his costume

Trunk or Treating at Church. This was Kyle's cousins trunk. Ryan and Jenner are big Broncos and Bears fans
Trunk or Treating was really cold so we headed inside for some more fun.

Jamin loving all the candy

Jamin kept wanting these vampire teeth prizes at VillaSport. We have 4 pairs lol

The next day we went to HomeDepot for another workshop. The had activities set up all over the store for Halloween.

The puupy Jamin and his puppy balloon.

We built a toolbox this day.

CAUTION! This is a dangerous project. Kyle had a pretty hard time putting it together and slammed the hammer on his finger lol. Everyone else had no trouble lol. (Love you honey)

The project minus the stickers.
This is in a random spot in the post but these are our pumpkins. Kyle carved the bat, however he thought it was supposed to be a hanging bat and carved it upside down lol. We had to turn the pumpkin over to show people what it was lol.

On Halloween we kept our tradition of getting Papa Murphy's Pizza and then Trick or Treating.
Jamin got to make his own pizza.

Proud of his creation!

He is the best chef!

Our Jack o Lantern pizza, Jamins pizza and the fee little pizza he got for coming in with his costume on.
When it got dark, we headed out.
The first house we went to Jamin thought we were there to hang out so he walked right in and made himself comfortable. Good thing they were neighbors we know lol. We had to show him how to trick or treat and by the next house he had it down!

Landin in his PJs. He was a little tiger lol

We wanted to see both grandparents so we headed into town.
At my parents house!

All the cousins!

We went to a couple houses in my parents neighborhood
Finished the night at Kyle's parents house.

We were out late so we stopped for a McDouble on the way home lol.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
