Busy Weekend

This weekend has been an amazing weekend! We all got to spend lots of time together and couldn't resist doing/getting a few things.
Friday Jamin was having a hard time going to bed so I decided I would climb in bed with him to help him go to sleep. He is such a crib-hog lol. It was lot of fun though!
Story time before bed!

Satuday we all went to the Broadmoore! I used to do this a lot with my family growing up! I can always remember going with a loaf of bread and feeding the ducks. This time, we brought some left over buns and fed a few of the birds, even though it says not to :(. We got some amazing shots of Jamin and some good family shots as well. Kyle and I spent our one year anniversary there a couple years ago. The scenery is always amazing and we shared a very special moment when we read each other our versions of Solomon's Song of Songs...something we will never forget. I really hope to make visits there a family tradition..it's too beautiful to pass up.

Hanging out inside...daddy and Jamin just playing
We also went to Babies R Us this weekend to get Jamin some bibs but ended up using our gift card and coupons on something Kyle and I both have been wanting since before Jamin was born....A jeep walking-bouncy-rolling Renegade awesome toy lol...that's my best explanation of it. Jamin loves it. He has been insisting he be upright (standing or sitting) all the time now so this is a great support system for him. It is so funny to see him playing in it and honking the horn all the time. Some of his expressions crack me up. This jeep is very special to both Kyle and I because we grew up having Jeeps. Kyle still has his and we are so excited to take the top off of it this summer and go cruzing with Jamin!!!!

We also got out our double stroller this weekend to let Kyle's mom borrow it for walks with all the gandbabies and before we took it over, I couldn't resist taking a picture of Malachi and Jamin in it. Malachi is just a little too big so my dream of taking walks with both of them in the stroller is pretty much over but I'm sure Malachi is thrilled because he would much rather be sniffing and running around during our walks anyways.

Sunday was our little Nephew Wyatt's 3rd Birthday. It's hard to believe that he is already three! We had a lot of fun at the party and were very surprised by a special announcement. Kyle's brother Chad and his wife Karen are pregnant with their 3rd baby! Congratulations to Chad and Karen and Big brothers Wyatt and Caleb. After the party Kyle did something spontaneous and agreed to playing basketball with some of his family members. They have a team in Meridian Ranch and needed a few extra people. Jamin and I loved watching him play!

Jamin wanted to play too but he decided not too because he didn't want to make everyone else look bad ;p

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
