4th of July Weekend

We had a very busy 4th of July weekend. On Friday Jamin and I met my mom and sister for lunch downtown and got to see some of the Cattle Drive for the Rodeo. We ate at one of my favorite restaurants, Saigon Cafe. I could eat their noodle bowls everyday. After lunch we saw my sisters new office and since we didn't have any plans for the rest of the day, Jamin and I had a little picnic outside the Pioneer's Museum. We enjoyed seeing all the action going on around us.

We found a great spot for a picnic

Jamin getting to play in the grass...he loved it... and loved eating it lol

Yummy lunch!

Playing after lunch....what a sweet boy

Jamin enjoyed digging his heels into the ground so that they could get muddy

We brought the pool inside so that it wouldn't blow away after we drained all the water out. Jamin discovered that it had so many ways to play with it. He would get in it and I would drag it around the living room. He enjoyed the ride. He also loved just relaxing in it. It is pretty comfy with the inflatable bottom lol.

Jamin got to open his July toy. It is a water toy and he loves it. Kyle and I already have all the songs on it memorized lol.

Bath time just got a little more fun with the baby turtle

On Saturday we went to our rec center and paticipated in decorating our bikes and joining in on the parade. We almost didn't make it because Jamin woke up super late but we got there in time to put a few decorations on and then head up to Falcon Freedom Days. We got to see all the small businesses in our area and got lots of free stuff.

The whole family joined in...even Malachi!

Sexy pose honey!
Sunday I had a cake order for a 40th Wedding Anniversary. Since the temperature outside was over 90 degrees I didn't know how well it would hold up in our car. The cake was also going to be sitting in the sun most of the way there. The cake held up great but when we covered it with a blanket, part if the top got smashed. Let's just say it was a pretty quiet car ride the rest of the way. I was pretty mad especially since I didn't bring any supplies :(. Thankfully my customer was totally fine with it. The cake still tasted amazing lol.
I love the side shot of it. It was two hearts and had roses and writing on top.

Sunday we also had a Verrone/Kinnamen family reunion with Kyle's family. We had a blast meeting and seeing some familiar faces. Jamin stayed up way past his bedtime but didn't seem to mind.
Our niece Iylah hitting the pinata. I love Craig and Josiah's faces. This picture is also hilarious because of what their dog Izzy is doing in the background lol

Jamin and I rushed in for some candy

Jamin is thankful that he still has all his candy in his hands lol

Jamin got caught sneaking some bites of the yummy cupcakes
Actually 4th of July we took it easy and spent time as a family! We also went to an event Bikes 4 Kids at the Velodrome that our family friends were putting on. It took us a long time to get going that morning because we decided we would take the top off the Jeep and go for a ride!!!
Jamin and daddy playing in the morning

Getting the car seat all ready for the ride!

Jamin wondering what was going on lol

Heading out! I was nervous about how Jamin would do but he loved it...I think the wind felt good to him and he eventually fell asleep on the ride to the event.

At the event and getting to see my friends Stacey and Kory. I love these girls so much

Having a family picnic

Getting back home and realizing we still had lots of rock to shovel lol

We tried to keep Jamin awake for the fireworks but he was so tired. So Kyle and I put him to bed and climbed up on our roof to watch all the fireworks in our neighborhood. It was amazing to see them from every angle. A lot of our neighbors went all out with their "shows". We could even see the fireworks at Memorial Park and Palmer Lake. It was an amazing 360 degree view of lights and colors.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
