Family Vacation in Keystone

This past weekend we went to Keystone with my family. We have been trying to do one vacation each year together. Last year we went to Glenwood Springs and this year we decided to head west again and spend some time together. Since Kyle has been working a lot of hours lately, we decided to head out on Thursday night and get up there early. The rest of my family came late Friday afternoon. Kyle, Jamin and I got a chance to spend a little time together before everyone came up.

This buffalo was so hot from the sun lol I burn myself every time I get a picture on it

We took a walk into town to see what was going on. A lot of people were there for the downhill mountain biking and there was also a lot of kids things going on. We were able to find a few things that Jamin could do. A lot of the activities we did were free so it made this vacation even better!!!
Playing in the sand box at near the entrance to the Gondola

Jamin had one sandy butt after playing in all the sand.

Deciding to crawl around and get dirty all over.

Playing with the big dump truck

A walk down to the stream. Malachi couldn't wait to jump in.

Jamin couldn't wait to get his feet wet too.

We decided to make it a picnic! It was so beautiful outside!

The night everyone arrived. We all played the best game ever...Headbandz!!!

Saturday morning, Malachi wanted to wake my dad up by jumping on the bed and giving him some big kisses lol

Getting ready to go on the paddle boats

The adults didn't have to wear life jackets but my dad wanted to still lol

Yay for paddle boats!

The crazy Brown family lol Addy and Kaydence are about to fall out lol

The other paddle boat. We were at maximum weight so if we leaned to one side the boat would start taking on water lol

We ended the trip with a great time on the paddle boats. There were tons of fish in the water that would come right up to you when you threw them food. The ducks and geese were also very comfortable around people. It was so awesome to get close to the little families of ducks. Malachi was going crazy on the boats the entire time because he wanted to get in the water and catch some birds for dinner lol. He finally got his way an ended up jumping in. He's lucky that he is a good swimmer lol.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
