Celebrating our 4th Wedding Anniversary!

Last week Kyle and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary! We have a tradition of going up to the same mesa that we got married. We always get Louie's Pizza and have a little picnic. I'm surprised that no one has stopped us yet because it is a private county club lol. I love our conversations and love spending time up there with him!
Kyle surprised me with Sparkling Apple Cider and strawberries!

Our little picnic set up

Of course...Louie's Pizza

The view this year was a bit different because of the Waldo Canyon Fire. It was really hazy but still breathtakingly beautiful

I do not have good luck taking pictures up here. This is our 15th try to get a shot of us kissing. I guess that is the one down side of having a SLR camera. Self shots are are to take because the camera is hard to hold with one hand and take a picture lol

After 17 shots I figured out that I was zoomed in lol This one worked just fine!
We didn't take many pictures because we got lost in looking back at the last 4 years. Our wedding anniversary gifts to each other were trees lol. That may sound funny but we do traditional wedding anniversary gifts and this year was fruit or flowers. Surprisingly we both had the same idea. Jamin and I went to Colorado Tree Farm and picked out this cute little peach tree. When we all went out to lunch with Kyle on our anniversary he surprised me with 3 HUGE trees (an apple, Oak and Ash tree). I started laughing and told Kyle about our little puny peach tree. I decided to return my tree because it just seemed silly to keep it with having these huge trees next to it lol. I will post pictures in the next post of the trees!

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
