Welcoming Baby Landin!

I decided to post the last post and this one at the same time so that everyone wasn't bored of my pregnancy story lol.

Now to the exciting part!!!! We tried to take a lot of videos and pictures for those people that are curious about a home birth. We got what we could but didn't do too great of a job during me pushing and Landin just being born.

bye bye belly!! Can't wait to meet you baby!

My DJ for the morning....he chose a lot of great worship songs for me to labor to!
5:30am- Contractions were starting to get intense so we called Kyle's mom to come pick Jamin up. This is just after we woke him up.
Jamin getting to check out the tub before leaving
A little after 6am our midwife got to our house and checked me. I was 8cm! I decided to get into the tub at this point.  The tub gave me a few minutes break from contractions. I was thankful for this little break because it wasn't long before I started to push.

Things moved fast and I started pushing a half hour later. It took over an hour and a half to push this big boy out.
Meeting out little blessing!

Welcome precious baby!
After giving birth, I took a nice warm shower and then got into bed to watch Jessica do the newborn assessment.

Landin still connect to the placenta. The placenta is in the bag because we got my placenta encapsulated by Jessica. It has helped give me lots of energy since giving birth!

This is how Landin was weighed! 8lb 8oz.

Landin's first poop!

Measuring the head. 14in around!

Listening to our healthy little boy!

Can't believe he has all that dark hair

Spending some time with Landin and already so in love!

Waiting for Jamin to get home!

So curious and already calling him 'baby'!

Totally out-numbered but loving it

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
