Mother's Day Weekend

Friday night Kyle took me to the Andy Mineo concert in town. He is a Christian rapper that Kyle really likes. We had a great time and although I couldn't understand a word he was saying, it was awesome to get some great worship time in. Saturday was my grandma's 92nd birthday! We went to go see her before heading out to Denver for one of my good friends wedding. It was so awesome to see some of my best friends from college there. I miss them so much. Landin had a rough night and finally decided to be up for the day on Sunday at 5:30am. He is still fighting off an ear infection and on his second round of antibiotics. Hopefully the discomfort will go away with this stronger antibiotic. He started to have diarrhea yesterday though, a side effect of the new antibiotic, so I'm not too sure how much he will start to feel better until everything is gone. We are trying to decide weather or not it is worth getting tubes put in because this is his 4th ear infection and second time antibiotics have failed. Anyways, back to mother's day. Kyle took Landin to go get Dunkin Donuts for me! It is my 'fat kid' weakness and so I don't let myself get them unless it is a special occasion. They ended up having to go to two dunkin donuts because the first was remodeling but they were still home by 7am lol. I enjoyed my two donuts and then the boys gave me an amazing Mother's day gift! I got a big planter box for gardening. I love this gift because it is something that we can all do together and it is educational lol. On monday i picked up the veggies that we will be growing....peppers, eggplants, cilantro (i guess thats an herb not a veggie lol), and tomatoes. I didn't want to go crazy because I have no idea what I am doing but willing to go on this adventure with my boys! On our way to Kyle's parent's house I was dropped off by the Chapel Hills mall so that I could get my long run in for the week. I decided it would be easier to be dropped off there and then run to Kyle's parents house and then just take a shower over there. We finished the night at with my family. Earlier in the week we made a giant plate with all the grandkids for my mom. It was a great day!
I thought this was a really cool statue of David and Goliath! This is in front of Church for All Nations where the concert was at.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
