December Randoms!

A few randoms from December...

Throughout the month of December I wanted to introduce the boys to the spirit of giving and how that plays such a big role in our lives and in the life of Jesus. I wanted to do something fun everyday leading up to the birth of Jesus (Christmas). I have always thought that elf on the shelf was really cute and playful but absolutely hate the message it sends kids (you have to behave well so that you get presents). I looked around knowing that there has to be something better and more Christ centered and found The Christmas Angel! Kyle had a hard time getting over how the angel looked but I told him next year we can make a cooler looking angel if he wants lol. It come with a story that we read every morning after the boys found the angel hiding somewhere in the house. Each day was spirit led and was giving focused.
One day we made cards for our trash men and gave it to them when they came mid-December
One day Jamin and I went through his toys and picked out some that he wanted to give away to kids (something we do every few months because Kyle and I get overwhelmed with a lot of toys around the house). I took this picture to remember what a giving heart he has. He decided to give away his skid despite it being his favorite toy.
There were many days that giving meant giving time or lending a helping hand. Jamin really enjoyed helping mommy bake cookies and spending time with neighbors!

On the topic of giving...We also experienced a lot of God's love and help throughout the past few months. Close friends and family brought us meals and set up play-dates to help me in those days that I was feeling really sick.
Landin eating and getting messy (as usual). This was a surprise meal left on our front door. Thank you Wittleders!
Random silly moments in our house...
Jamin put a diaper on Landin's head one day and then the too were just being little goofs lol

One of those rare moments that all three boys were tired and fell asleep cuddling

We can't go a day without wrestling

Silly faces from Jamin

Some cuddling with a very sick mommy on the couch

Warming up by the fire

Just relaxing....sorry this may be boring to everyone but I wanted to post these to remember all these sweet moments

Plenty of snow days in December...

ur second night ever away from the boys (thank yo mo and dad!). Kyle's work Christmas party up in Cripple Creek. We decided to match!

Kyle is wearing my mom's Christmas sweater...it fits him perfectly!
The boys love eating at this little table at lunch time. Just some silly moments...

LOVE my boys!

A day of warm weather! Jamin found a hairy caterpillar in the backyard!!
December was a rough month of not feeling well, not having a car and our dish washer and washing machine broke. We took a chance and bought a dinosaur/ancient washer from a lady out east for $25 to get us by. It was dark, windy and cold when Kyle picked it up so we didn't get to take a look at it until he got home. Our hearts were torn to see the horrible condition it was in. BUT then Kyle noticed it was the same maker as ours and thought that he could just switch out the motors. VICTORY! It was a great moment for us lol.

VIDEO: If you can't tell we were REALLY happy to have a working washer!

More wrestling and silliness...

We watched Kyle's cousin's dog over Christmas and Landin found a new comfy eating chair. Tori was so sweet to him!

One of Jamin's favorite Christmas gifts. He pulls it out for every football game, even if its a college game

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
