Bunk Beds

After months of searching on craigslist and in stores we finally found a deal that we couldn't pass up. With the baby coming we knew we were going to move the boys into the same room but weren't too sure how that was going to work. At first I thought we would just get two twin beds but then realized that might not work so well because we plan on doing preschool in there still and needed the space for their table and school things. So we came to the conclusion that bunk beds were our best bet. Kyle was set on a bunk bed with a slide from the beginning but I wanted something that the boys could get older and still enjoy. Kyle ended up getting his dream and based off of how much the boys enjoy their bed, I think we made the right decision. It is a low bunk bed and perfect for their ages. Landin is able to climb up by himself which made it perfect. We also got a killer deal on it so I am very happy we came in under budget!

We it came in Kyle and I were just as excited as the boys to get it set up. After work, Kyle didn't even eat dinner...we, mostly he, got to work on it right away.

The boys loved helping daddy!

Landin was right at home in his new bed.

Being silly

The slide, and best part, was the last thing to set up.
Finally time to try it out!

One with the bedding!

Now time to roll the trucks and cars down it!

The boys room is nearly done, we have changed a few things around and re-done a few things on the walls.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
