January School

Jamin has really been excelling at school. He knows most of his addition and money facts and knows how to tell time and  skip counting. He also is doing great with his reading and becoming more fluent and LOVES reading full books to Daddy when he gets home! I just continue to be impressed by his excitement for learning! He will be starting a homeschool STEM Kindergarten enrichment program, one day per week, next year and I am so excited for him to get that social aspect and continue to love learning!
Landin has really been picking up his letters and numbers. Both boys also memorize one to two verses per week for AWANA that they attend every Wednesday. I love reading them the Bible stories and doing the activities in the AWANA book.

Dylin has been able to join us during school on the days we decide to do school in the mornings. He loves getting to be in on the action and there are many times that I hear him repeating something I say during a lesson. Hopefully he is just soaking it all in!
One of his favorites is Mr Potato head!

This day was really fun! To help Jamin get a 'real life' experience with money and addition, I put together a little menu to go along with our Melissa and Doug Ice cream set and we played Ice cream shop. The boys had a blast taking ice cream orders and then figuring out the correct money and change they needed to give or get!

Dylin thought it was fun sliding things through our ice cream window :)

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
