A big post of a bunch of randoms to get caught up

I guess I can start with our backyard. We (mostly Kyle) have been working on it to try to get the sand box done and trees in. Here is a short picture update of the process!

Jamin has been hauling all the dirt to the back for us! He is a pretty good driver! lol

He just loves all the trucks and tractors he gets to ride in!

It was a hot day so he decided to take a break for a cool swim! He wanted to fill up the pool!

Daddy kept working on the yard while Jamin and I played in the pool.

Daddy hard at work. This is the beginning of one of the three berms we put in to put trees on top of.

We got the sand box leveled out and the swing set moved. There are also some of the stones in this picture for the boarder.

Had to take a trip to Home Depot for some more supplies. Jamin is loving his own Slurpee!

Back to work....more dirt delivered and more dirt to move.

A pretty cold day but the boys didn't let the weather stop them.

It was so cold this day but Jamin really wanted to be in the tractor with daddy.

Our trusty foreman! He follows the tractor everywhere.

Making progress on the sand box. More stones delivered and put into place.

The sand getting delivered!

Kyle thought it would be funny to make a beautiful sculpture of his lovely pregnant wife in the sand.

What's up with the face? lol

Setting more stones. Kyle, take off your bright white shirt...oh wait, those are you tan lines lol.

Jamin helping set the stones. Just kidding, each one weighs 75 pounds. Kyle did have help from our neighbor Jayden!

Kyle setting more blocks and the rest of us playing lol

Our foreman again. Making sure daddy is doing a good job!
Kyle got all the blocks set and the sand in! We just need to get caps and to paint the swing set!
Play time! Kyle built a volcano that turned into a wet sand fight. Of the messes of these boys.
Jamin didn't seem to mind getting dirty
All Boy
Ok mommy's turn to get in on the fun! We are one messy family
That just about catches us up on where we are at with the sand box. We hope to get the rest done before baby gets here.

Speaking of baby! Kyle is pregnant! jk My belly mold of when I was pregnant with Jamin found its way out into the living room. I have been debating whether or not I should hand onto it or say goodbye to it because we don't have a place for it anymore since we got rid of our office for Jamin's new room. I decided in the mean time that I would take some pictures of it so that way I always have them to remember. This was such an awesome idea that my sister came up with for my baby shower when we were pregnant with Jamin.
Just lovely!

It's hard to believe that this little guy used to fit in there lol

This past weekend we had our community garage sale. We only participated on Saturday which gave us an opportunity to see what deals were out there on Friday. Our Friends Sonya and Nathan came over to hang out and then we looked at a few other garage sales. We decided to take the Jeep since it was a nice day.
The two boys in the back of the Jeep! Sonya is also pregnant so we were a lovely sight with two preggers up front and toddlers in the back of Kyle's monster jeep lol.

Saturday at our garage sale. Jayden came over to hang out! He was a huge help. When there were a lot of people looking he played with Jamin.

Jamin was pretty entertained with a movie and snacks!

Ok I guess I can finish with a few cute pictures of our little man!

Our little rock star at our niece, Iylah's 5th birthday party!

He is such a little helper! He loves to feed Malachi. He only gets a few pieces of dog food with each scoop but he somehow fills the bowl up eventually!

We have to get this kid to stop itching his butt. lol

A cutie with a little bootie lol

  1. Wow, that is a big sand box! It is looking good! Kyle is such a hard worker! I wish I had that in me. The back yard is coming together. Can't wait to see it with the trees.

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
