Homemade

We have been trying to make more things that we use on a daily basis...laundry soap, bread etc. This is because I am trying to save money and I think its really fun family time to do it together! I have been wanting to make our own laundry soap for a while now so I decided now was as good of time as any. 

The boys LOVE helping me make dinner and clean up the counters and tables so this was a perfect thing for them. 


Let's Do This.

They got to dump a lot of stuff in the bucket which was their favorite part!

 We had to take a break for some medical attention lol. The boys were really into stirring everything in the bucket with their hands but the fun stopped when Landin got a bunch of soap on his hands and then rubbed his eyes.

 All is better now and back to work.


 I had to step away from making the detergent so that I could feed Dylin so I left the rest up to Kyle and the boys!
 Kyle's muscles came in handy...shake it all up Kyle!

 All Done! I love the smell and it works great! We will definitely be doing this from now on.

 Filling up our small jar. Jamin really liked this part!

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. 4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
