Estes Park Part 3

Since we would be spending Thanksgiving with Kyle's family this year, we decided to use this trip as our Thanksgiving with my family. This was a great trip and we are truly thankful for the time is Estes Park.

The cabin didn't have a TV, (which we loved!) but one night we thought it would be fun to pop some popcorn and allow the little ones to watch a movie. They were so cute all on the couch together watching a movie on this little screen lol.

 Cousin wrestling time.

 Push up contests!

The next day we walked over to the arts and crafts center

The boys both wanted to paint jets

That afternoon, some of the family went shopping in town. I stayed back to set up and get going on our Thanksgiving feast!
Our set-up!

 Turkey munch!
My dad was so obsessed with making a fire the entire time we were there lol. He kept wanting to buy more and more fire wood lol. Finally it was time though! He showed Jamin how to build a good fire!

 Kyle carving the turkey!

This table clothe was awesome! I tried to go back to the store and get another one for when we had our small group over but they were sold out. It provided lots of fun and entertainment for the big and little kids! It was a thanksgiving coloring table clothe!

More cousin fun! Hide and Go seek!

Cabinets make the best hiding spots!

Popcorn time!
Time to pack up and head home...
The boys playing train with the cooler before we leave :)

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
