Trip to Estes Park (Part 1)

For my parent's 60th birthdays, my sister and I, along with our families, surprised my parents with a trip to Estes Park. We stayed at the YMCA camp there and had a blast! It was really reasonably priced and there is always family activities going on! It was also very beautiful! We plan on going again!

Before the trip the boys and I started making some fall/thanksgiving treats and prepared some meals.

Turkey munch!

The boys loved getting to whack the oreos for oreo truffles!

My best helper :)
Getting all packed and on the road...My parents rode with us so Dylin and I took the back.
My view

Wasn't too sure how Dylin would do on a 3 hour car ride but he did awesome and slept the entire time!
Getting up to the YMCA camp!

 The check in lodge
Our cabin...it was a 4 bedroom cabin with lots of room for playing!

Going swimming at their indoor pool. This was also Dylin's first time swimming!!

VIDEO: Grandma and Dylin (There were no cameras allowed in the pool area but since we were the only ones there and it was Dylin's first time, I decided to break the rules....if you listen closely Kaydence is letting me know that lol)

Logan loving the water!

Dylin wasn't too sure about the water...but he loved it once he got in!

Hard to tell...but the boys are jumping to Kyle in these next few photos

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
