Estes Park Part 2

There were so many fun things to do at Estes Park YMCA camp for our family. On our second night there we all went roller skating and played some games in their gym. We went at a perfect time of year because this camp is most busy in the summer and slows down a lot during the school year but still has good crowds for families staying there during holidays. Thankfully we went at a time where there were no crowds and no lines for anything but still enough people to meet and enough activities going on!

Getting ready to roller skate!
HAHA even my mom and dad got out on the rink floor.
VIDEO: Jamin and Landin on their skates for the first time!

The boys getting their skates

Jamin was so excited to try skating for the first time!

The little skates were so cute on them!

Time for a family picture

Dylin's first time skating too!

Time for some fun in the gym!

 This gym was HUGE!

HAHA nice form Kyle!

Back at the cabin....Cousins playing bingo...well sort of. All the little boys just wanted to play with the ball machine lol

Dylin was exhausted from all the fun!

 Cousin fun!

 Good times with Grandma :)

The next morning we went to the education center and learned about all the wildlife and their tracks.

Checking out all the animal tracks
Then we got to look at and touch and feel furs, bones and other things....(the poop is fake lol).

 All the animal droppings

Heading outside to find animal footprints of our own. It was too cold for everyone so it didn't last too long. I stayed in with Dylin.

Coming back in to make bandannas with animal footprints on them!

Jamin wasn't feeling very good at this point...just tired so he went back to the cabin with Kyle.
 Landin proudly displaying his bandanna

Dylin wasn't too happy about wearing his

In the afternoon, Kyle took the kids out for a hike.

The evening we all headed into town for their tree lighting ceremony/festival and dinner.
It was freezing and super windy.

Pictures of some of the kids with Santa.

Getting to meet some of the animals!

 Landin loved all the animals!

 Cookie decorating...yummmm!

Grandma helping Landin decorate his cookie

 Yummy!
We didn't stay out long because it was so cold so we decided to try to eat fast and then go back to see the lighting ceremony.
We ate at a yummy pizza place just a couple blocks down from the festival
Walking back to the festival....we were just able to catch them lighting up the square!

More to come!

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
