January School

We were busy with getting back into school in January. We began our World geography units that I came up with. I made a interactive map so that the boys can take off labels or continents and play around with learning their continents and oceans. I also made some animals to make it more interesting too!

I try to save educational toys that we get from kids meals for specific lessons...Chick fil A had some great ones on oceans that I brought out when we were learning about the 5 oceans!

Sensory bin time for Dylin...he got to explore Ocean animals and other animals that sparked his interest!

The boys are picking up spanish so fast! They know greetings, numbers, colors, objects family, and much more!

Practicing their letter writing in the salt box

Of course, the big brothers take over the sensory bin...

Blind writing to try to get that muscle memory going!

Malachi was really wanting Jamin's attention in school this day :)

More of Landin's creations! A Beach and a flower!
Monster truck rally in the sensory bin

I found these wet floral beads at the dollar store and decided to let the boys have some fun sensory bin time with them! they were a hit!

One of our math games! Nice to meet you! Jamin had a lot of fun adding and finding who had the answer.!

Bible time! Who doesn't love a good Jesus story and homemade banana bread!

 Jamin loves his dinorsaurs!

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
