Last Road Trip post...I promise

Ok, if you aren't totally over all the posts about our trip I have just one more for you! Thanks for hanging in there...
The next morning we decided we were kinda tired of the cold weather following us the entire trip and so we made the decision to get as close to home as possible...we packed everything up and headed out for a long drive to Fort Collins, CO!

a picture of our cabin!

Our view of the river from our cabin!
On our drive we ran into some friends on the side of the road!

So pretty there

 We also ran into snow....

If you can't really see out the window it's ok...neither could we lol

And then...the RV started to break down...Thankfully the engine is inside and the men could work on it in the warm RV!

While the guys were working on the RV, Cherie and I took the kids out to 'explore' the gas station lol
Poor Harvey

Fun in the car wash...I knew no one would be coming in here and it kept us out of the wind and cold
YAY! Back on the road again! We resorted to letting the kids watch a movie since this stretch was taking way longer than we thought...

And the RV started to break down again...they guys thought the carburetor was dirty so we would stop every 50 miles or so to clean it out.
Finally made it to Fort Collins and were welcomed with lots of rain lol

Right as we got parked into a Walmart parking lot Kyle rolled down the window for some reason and then broke the crank off...lol Thankfully we were able to get it fixed without too much water getting in lol

Hard to tell but a lot of rain on the ground
Going into Walmart...I forgot what we went in there for but it was fun!
So this is what its like to have 5 kids....

Sorry, bad picture..it was taken on my phone

We spent the night at Walmart and in the morning we wanted to have another try at fishing...this is at on of the little lakes/ponds up in Fort Collins

No rain but still very cold...

 Ready to fish!

Landin ready to wonder off lol

Jamin lost interest after about 15 minutes and decided that throwing rocks was much more fun lol Daddy encouraging it of course!

Ok, what trip isn't complete without a visit to CASA BONITA! Tons of room for kids to run around, the same great food and entertainment that they have had for forever and games!

Landin was pretty upset that I was walking away to take this picture
 Nota single thing has changed!

Gotta love the skits that they put on!

Landin decided that sky ball should be play while standing on the machine...

Whose child is that?

Noah decided to join him lol

We barely made it down to Lone Tree...Harvey was really truggling...I think we pulled over 4 times from Casa Bonita. We decided to empty out Harvey at a free dumping site near Craig and Cherie's house. We now know why it was free...super gross....
The guys could not get this nasty thing to drain...

VIDEO: Warmimg, do not watch if you have a weak stomach. I love how kyle can't say anything but 'ugh, ugh' and craig is just laughing
The boys watching from inside...I love Josiah's reaction
We finally emptied Harvey but it took a while....the Harvey really had a hard time getting to Craig and Cherie's house. 5 stops in just a few miles. Craig was waving people to go around us because we were going so slow
We made it back to Craig and Cherie's and the guys decided to try one more thing to fix Harvey. They bought a new fuel filter and when replacing the old one, they quickly realized that it had been the problem all along and what they had been doing on the trip was actually making this worse. We were glad to see that it was only a minor fix and Kyle and I decided to drive it back to the Springs....we had no trouble at all lol.

I absolutely LOVED this trip! It was everything and more! We had the most amazing adventure and despite all the potentially stressful moments, it really wasn't stressful at all. I loved every minute and would do it again. Amazingly enough, all the kids were well behaved and we had a ton of fun making tons of memories! Thank you Lord for the awesome adventure you took us on and thank you Craig, Cherie, Iylah, Josiah and Noah for being awesome and so much fun to do this trip with! Can't wait to 'plan' our next adventure!

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
