VanHorn Family Road Trip Part 3

I honestly don't know how many parts there will be to this so I apologize now if you get really bored. This is an exciting one though because it was Megan and Tyler's wedding day!
Getting ready for the day!

Arriving at the wedding site!

So pretty!
Ok, I some of the pictures that I took were really bad because I had a cranky 1 year old I was trying to keep busy in my lap and an extremely tired (because he never took a nap that day) 2 year old sitting next to me but here is the best I could get....

 Mr and Mrs Elliott!!!
After the ceremony I took the boys on a little adventure while the wedding party was having their pictures taken....My boys enjoyed it a lot! I love them in their little tuxes that I was able to reuse from all the weddings Jamin was in last summer.

Naturally, Jamin would see water and rocks and decide to make BIG splashes by throwing the rocks into the water lol
 The reception!

This series of pictures is so cute...Landin kept wanting to give Kyle kisses.

You know how I mentioned that Jamin hadn't had a nap all day? Well as soon as we sat down with our food he fell asleep while sitting at the table. Grandma came to the rescue and offered to hold him.

Kyle getting ready to do the Best Man's speech....

I was only able to capture half of the speech because Landin was just too fussy so I decided not to include it in the blog post.
 Dance time!

Had to put my hair up for the crazy dancing going on

 Sending Tyler and Megan off...

A few pictures taken on my phone from the reception...

Captured this picture so that I would always remember this incident...one of the owners of the even center got stuck in the closet. Kyle got freaked out when he noticed the handle moving. She had been in there for a long time but thankfully was able to get out about 30 minutes after we noticed her in there.

Jamin was worried about what was going on :(

More to come...

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

4/20-4/24

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
