Easter Part 2

Easter morning we woke up early and made resurrection rolls together. This was our second or third year doing this. Jamin understood it a little better this year and kept asking where  Jesus went while we were eating breakfast.
After the roll preparation...Jamin being silly for the camera. Kyle is reading from John on the Bible on his phone.

My silly man!

Rolls are in the oven...Landin is excited for his breakfast!

Opening up some Easter bags I put together for them.

Malachi is of course very interested to see if anything is for him

Every year I get them a Jesus centered gift and some other fun things I think they will enjoy

Kyle found these sling shot Jesus planes at Family Christian Bookstore

New sandbox and bath toys I found at Ikea.

My boys LOVE the Baby Bible Storybook for boys. Every morning we read a story and act it out! I noticed a few months ago I noticed that they make several other books. Jamin got the ABCs and Landin got the Jesus series. They continue to be a hit at breakfast!

Landin watching daddy make eggs!

Our breakfast and reading for the morning.
Again I saw a really cute dessert idea on pinterest so I made it and brought it to Kyle's parents house that afternoon. It was really simple. Chocolate covered strawberries with chocolate pudding and crushed oreos.

Yummy!
Kyle's family continues their long tradition of hiding and searching for REAL eggs. Everyone brings their decorated eggs and the kids love finding them! Every year we always come up missing a few so there are always jokes flying around about how gross its going to be when they finally do find the eggs. Outside hunts are better because one year we had to do it inside because of weather. I think one was missing that year lol.

The kids waiting inside while the guys hide them!

Landin was more into finding the eggs this time.

Out exploring

What do I do with thing now mom? lol

Wonderful little company!

Yesterday I had the honor to watch Nathan. Nathan's parents are Matt and Sonya, friends from our small group at church. We had a blast all afternoon. Both the boys didn't take naps so I thought it was going to be a rough afternoon but I think they got energy from one another. I was nervous for dinner time too but they both did great. Both ate like champs...even ate their vegetables!  I put these two to work right away lol Busy building something great! We went outside for a bit. It was hard to keep these two together in the front so we headed out back! Nathan loved exploring! Showing me a sweet rock that he found! Jamin exploring too! Wondering where he should go next. There are so many things to see in our backyard  The boys looking at the rocks and weeds lol Nathan showing Jamin the treasure (weed) that he found! We played on the swings for a while too. One would be in this swing while I held the other in the other swing! (Sorry my...

I couldn't really think of a title for this post so I decided to just states the dates lol. Last week Jamin and I went to Focus on the Family with our friends Sonya and Nathan. I just got done reading Bringing Up Boys which was written by the Founder of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson. Although Focus on the Family is a place I would hear about while growing up, I really didn't know a lot about it. My friend Sonya went to their Institute and so our trip planning began to go visit it! Group picture after taking the tour We can never get a great shot of the boys lol These were taken in their really awesome play area! Love this picture! Stroller parking!!! A smile that makes my heart melt everytime! Jamin and Nathan Mommy was way too big for this little boat lol Silly faces  We also went to the zoo with Sonya and Nathan last week. Here are a few pictures! We even go the moose in the picture! Jamin got scared of the big hippo :( ...

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
