When Landin was a year and a half he had enlarged adenoids and was struggling with sleep apnea and snoring at night. He also had a broken tube in his ear from his surgery at 11 months. We opted not to do surgery then because I was pregnant and we really didn't get any guarantees at the time. Fast forward to now (August), after visiting our pediatrician for one of Dylin's well baby check ups, our pediatrician asked if Landin breaths out of his mouth all the time. He does primarily breath out of his mouth and so the doctor was worried about the strain that he was putting on the rest of his body, specifically his heart. So we decided to re-visit the ENT doctor. He was put on a steroid to try to shrink his adenoids and help him breath better out of his nose. The broken tubes in Landin's ears had also fell out so we were not worried about replacing those or doing anything further because he also had not had many ear infections since.
