VanHorn Family Reunion

It's still so amazing to me how close all of the VanHorns are. This was the 2nd Annual family reunion. 75 of us were there. This number is only Kyle's grandpa, his kids and their families. Everyone decided to put these on because the numbers were getting insane and it was getting hard to host Christmas every year. That's a lot to put on one family lol. We had a blast but didn't stay very long because Kyle and I had a wedding to go to that night. This year it was at Bear Creek Park.

I took a lot of pictures of the boys playing on the playground. We mostly kept to that area except to eat. We didn't get to catch up a lot with everyone but one day when they are older I can carry on an adult conversation and not have a constant eye on my kiddos but we are just in that busy stage of life that most of our time is spent wherever the kids want to be. I am loving every minute of it though, this stage goes by too fast and I know they will be big before I know it.

Playing a little ladder ball!

The girls love Jamin!

All the kiddos got to participate in Egg races and then get a prize!

Jamin racing Grandpa.

We enjoyed seeing the ice scultures and going down the ics slide!  My attempt to make peanutbutter-banana-honey sandwiches on the way home...Kyle didn't think I did very well because half of his banana was on the floor of the car :)

Road Trip Part 5

Monday morning rolled around and we decided to make our way from Bozeman down to the West Yellowstone Entrance. The drive was amazingly gorgeous!  Just driving in Harvey!  We made it to West Yellowstone but were turned away from two different RV parks because of the amount of kids we had with us. This was the first time I have ever felt looked down upon and discriminated against. I literally had one man ripped a piece of paper out of my hands because he didn't even want to consider letting that many people stay in his park. I explained to him that they are all young and well behaved kids but apparently he has had way too many bad experiences with kids. We didn't let it get us down though. We finally found one that didn't have any concerns letting 4 adults come in with 5 kiddos. The place was actually brand new and the closest RV park to the west Yellowstone entrance so we really lucked out!!! After we got checked in we decided to go into the park ...
